No. The calculator measures elapsed time from the start to the end date. Today to today is zero days; today to tomorrow is one day. Reversing the dates gives a negative result.
Years and months are added first, then days, hours and minutes. If the target month is shorter, the day becomes its last valid day: January 31 plus one month is February 28, or February 29 in a leap year. We use the Gregorian calendar for all years, including dates before its introduction.
Use a month name such as 3 Mar 2026, 2026 March 3, or March 22. Numeric dates follow your browser locale, with common separators and an optional year. Two-digit years 00–49 mean 2000–2049; 50–99 mean 1950–1999. With Show time enabled, add 14:30 or 2:30 PM. Press Enter or leave the field to apply.
Yes. Enable Show time, then drag the hour or minute hand around the clock face to set the time. You can also select a hand and use the arrow keys, edit the digital time, or use the AM/PM buttons. In add/subtract mode, the result clock updates automatically and is read-only.
No. Every day is treated as exactly 24 hours. This calculator works with calendar dates and clock times, without time zones or daylight-saving adjustments. Dates range from year 1 through 9999.
